Hi, I'm Jovana Payan!

I am a contemporary artist specializing in traditional oil painting and acrylic pours.

The majority of my work is self-initiated, finding inspiration in nature and every day life. Some of my most favorite paintings have been ones that helped me process an emotion or hardship during its creation. I strive to make all my pieces in a way that inspires the viewer with depth of color and emotion.

I have been painting for about 5 years, self taught and with lessons from a private tutor. I started learning the wet on wet method and then was introduced to traditional oil painting by my talented teacher Ms. Martha Rodriguez of El Paso, Texas.
